It depends upon each plan. I would ask your insurance agent if it is covered or how much is covered. If the transplant is required or desperately needed, I would think that it would be covered just as any other required-surgery is. Some insurance plans cover a percentage of the costs while others will pay up to a certain amount and you have to pay the rest. Again, ask your agent and they should be able to tell you.
