Tryptophan supplements 500 mg twice daily on an empty stomach helps after 6 month of taking it. Tryptophan seesm to boost the serotonin of the brain which makes a person feel happy.

some cause of depression can be traced on undermethylation. to solve this problem you need to add methyl groups on your system. this can be done by taking methionine supplements.

I've also heard that a proper diet and exercise can boost your mood and help fight depression. I've also heard that yoga is good for fighting depression and your mental health as well as your physical health. I usually resort to prescriptions for depression as they work the quickest.
